Five tips to reduce stress

1. Nature

Nature is such a fantastic healer and it is free, so take time to be outside and breathe in the fresh air. Concentrate on breathing deeply in through the nose and out through the mouth. Taking time out will allow you to calm the mind which then calms the body. Try to do this regularly, even just 5-10 minutes a day can have a positive effect on reducing stress.

2. Drink

Drink calming Camomile herbal tea, perfect combined with peppermint, spearmint or simply on its own. This really helps as it is a natural calming tea, so ideal to use if feeling stressed to calm the nerves. Also good just before bed to help increase sleep and to reduce interrupted sleep too.

3. Gratitude

Make a list of 3 things that you are grateful for, so you are counting your blessings, rather than dwelling on the negatives.

4. Music

Music is wonderful way to increase and boost your mood, so play uplifting music to improve positivity and calming music to soothe the nerves and reduce anxiety.

5. Acts of Kindness
